Shapeshift is a mutable platform for fundraising, care and community. Created by artist and filmmaker Luca Asta, it gathers curated artistic and cultural moments to support Luca’s gender-affirming medical transition, including two stages of facial feminisation surgery.
Born from the urgency of self-determination and the poetics of transformation, Shapeshift moves across formats:
The Event: A show and party at Love Affair Basement (pole, drag, live music, poetry, DJ sets)
The Art Shop: A curated online gallery with proceeds supporting the fundraiser
The Screening: A cinema evening of queer and trans films
Shapeshift is powered by Luca Asta, Lera Kelemen, Maz Murray and Edijs Snejersons, with major support from all of our artists and community members. We celebrates trans and queer creativity, mutual generosity and the power of shared visibility.
